This Is Australia Calling

G'Day Everyone,
So glad to be back on this great journey with you all.
I really enjoyed my little beading holiday and can't wait to pick up needle and thread again. I've got lot's of plans for this years BJP and have decided on a theme, but that dosn't mean I'll stick with it.
The only thing I can promise is to keep my size the same as last years - 4"x6", I found this size was workable for me and not too big that it was daunting.
I took a big step- in the right direction- during the break and am now smoke free!
Coming up for 10 weeks now. Feeling pretty good and hope to stay that way.
It's a beautiful spring day downunder and I'm off to start my September page, I've got some really pretty beads just waiting to be coerced into something, hopefully, wonderful!
Cheers

Congratulations on quitting smoking! I know from many of my friends how difficult that can be, and how much better you feel afterwards.

Great to have you back, Dinah!!! I decided to stick with 4 x 6 too... why rock the boat when it floats so well???

Huge congratulations on quitting the smokes! Gadzoooooooks! I still remember the shakes and the flashing, neon sign in my mind constantly screaming CIGARETTES at me for weeks and weeks after I quit. It took three years before I didn't want one. But now, OMG, I am soooooooooo glad to be smoke-free! You are indeed off to a good start!

Thanks Ladies, Oh and Robin thanks to the miracle of modern medicine I was put on a course of tablets - beta blockers - and haven't had any cravings and the shakes only lasted for about two weeks. But being sensible in my senior years I'm still taking it one day at a time.
