My September piece

Summer in Toronto was wetter than normal, which lead to a lush patchwork of green vegetation. This is my impression of that landscape. I used mainly backstitch, with a lsome fringe and a freeform fill in stitch (I have no idea what to call it). As for the beads, Japanese seeds and bugles in various sizes. I spent the holidays with my sister in Saulte Ste Marie, and was able to raid her stash. Lucky for me, she had a nice stash of "odds & sods" to complement the ones I had purchased. This was the perfect way to wind down after the holidays - Anne Marie - Toronto

I love your triangles, Anne Marie -- you manage to say so much in this elegant shape . . .

I love that you are doing equalateral triangles!!! They are so stable and so aspiring. (Does that make sense?)... Besides that, your verdant greens make me want to visit Toronto... a city I never before considered visiting!

Thanks so much for posting your picture!!!

I love all your trees, but so far I have a soft spot for the green one. It makes me thing of a magic mountain.
