This is my first post - I think
I'm a fibre artist with a yen for beads. I signed up for the BJP and then discovered that I had way too many conflicting deadlines. I considered dropping out, but then decided that I owed this to myself. So, although I didn't start on my BJP until after the holidays, I'm happy to say that I'm now caught up. My original plan was to combine fibre and beads, with a heavier emphasis on the fibre. Much to my surprise, my September piece decided that it wanted to be totally encrusted. I have used some fibre in a couple of the pieces, but they still seem to want to be heavily beaded. This is my first official attempt at journalling, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the process. I don't have a blog yet, but will try to post a couple of pictures a day. I can hardly wait to hear what you think - Anne Marie - Toronto

Thank you for introducing yourself, Anne Marie, and especially for sticking with the BJP! It is such a wonderful gift that we can give to ourselves when we listen to that inner voice, the one that really wants to do something. You've listened well... both about not dropping out and about encrusting your pieces! Bravo!

Welcome - I'm glad you kept up with it - we all run behind at one point in time so, it's ok and I'm glad you decided to stay with it.
Well, I am glad you didn't give up. I can't believe you have gotten so much done so fast! And you've done really nice pages so far. Can't wait to see the rest.
