If anyone is checking for 2010 updates, I'm including a link here to my January and February pieces. I'm actually keeping up this year (for the first two months - ha ha) and have ideas for March. Hope everyone is staying warm and finding time to bead!

This one is about my DH, originating from Brest, he is also a fan of motorcycles, and likes a lot comic strips. Do you know Gaston Lagaffe? It's a famous 'bande dessinée in France and Belgium, if you know it, perhaps you recognize 'la mouette rieuse' , the laughing gull !

Today I used the excuse of snow to stay home from the office and finish my 2nd January page. Now I need to let my fingers heal up before I start February (or learn how to use a thimble).

Back from holiday

I am back from a month overseas (California and Texas) and have completed my october man with december and january on the way. At this stage november seems to be lost in the process but ideas are still coming. I am hoping to update my blog page this weekend - I know it has been a while http://didi-beadwork.blogspot.com/ but snail internet takes me time at home.
