I finished my April page last night and am already looking through my stash for fabric to begin May. Here's April (with an explanation because otherwise, I don't believe it makes much sens).

This one is about my DH, originating from Brest, he is also a fan of motorcycles, and likes a lot comic strips. Do you know Gaston Lagaffe? It's a famous 'bande dessinée in France and Belgium, if you know it, perhaps you recognize 'la mouette rieuse' , the laughing gull !

February's up - March is next

I finally finished February - after much consternation due to the fact that absolutely nothing came to mind. I did consider just doing a monotone loomed piece and tacking to a background of the same colour but decided that didn't quite convey the image I wanted. You'll find the finished piece on my blog. Finally up to date, March is done

I finally caught up. METAMORPHOSIS is the name of my March page. The return of the sun strongly influenced me for this page. You can see it here.

The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.

But I'm finally done with my March page and have a tiny beginning on April which I hope to finish by month's end. However, the sun has decided to pay us a brief visit so I'm not certain that much beading will occur this weekend. Here's March.

Hi everyone..... Finished my April BJP page, much to my delight and amusement. It makes me giggle, despite being such a true-for-me predicament. Here's a peek....

Gotta tell you, everyone's work is so absolutely gorgeous, inspiring and thought-provoking and it is always a great part of my day when I can read up on everyones' thoughts that have gone into their BJP pages. Thank you all, for sharing!

I am still alive, and still in :o)

Hi Everybody,

Just to let you know, although none of my pages are finished... I am still in !

Last year, I could not stand the idea of leaving a page unfininished even for one month. This year I have er... reconsidered. I find this very interesting and have plenty of food for thought.

I wish lots a creativity and happinness to all of you.

April and May

My April piece is finished. It is called April Showers. I fused fabric to background and beaded with seed beads and sequins. I used embroidery for flowers in the grass. One of my co-workers gave me the fabric and it reminds me of Holly Hobbie from years ago. My May piece is called May Flowers. These have really been fun to do.
