Spring has come by the water fall

This is my May BJ piece. I took a woven piece of cloth, felted it and added felted wool on each side. The flowers are crocheted and beaded. Added a bit of embroidery and beaded some ferns. Lise Pederson

I'm in love with this piece, Lise!!! In a day or two, I'll be posting my May BJP piece, which is a picture of a little waterfall that happens along a stream... a place I love and know well. There's a big difference in our pieces. Mine is OK, but I'm in LOVE with yours. I love the whimsey of the flowers, the way you did the water, the combination of thread and bead embroidery, and the way it flows off the "page." What will you do with it???? Robin A.

I too love this piece. You are very inpsired. I think I will have to extend my project to two years so I can finish all my ideas.

I love this piece. I didn't know you could felt wool to cloth - I'm learning so much through other members. Your piece is really lovely.

Great blending of techniques! If I had to use just one word to explain this piece, I would use "joy".

This is a beautiful piece. I love the mix of arts in it. The water flowing off the fabric is a great affect. I really can feel the beauty. Julie C
