Healing Doll
Finally finished my January piece. I had a knee replacement January 19th and thought this would be an easy piece to do......NOT SO Started, undid, restarted, undid and so on. Wanted her to look soft, in beiges , and this is how she turned out. Now I just posted her picture before I wrote about her. I don't know what this all means but l will always remember this project . Was it your left or right knee? I'm wondering if the flower-like right knee of the doll is yours or if it's the one on the doll's left that looks like it's in a cast? Either way (or neither) I love this doll to pieces... She has such a sweet expression, her heart is big and warm, her dancing spirit radiating! Thanks for posting the picture!!!! Robin A.
Robin, I had the right knee done. The red one ....the white one was done last year. Now I have two new knees and hope to go dancing soon. Lise
